I want my grandchildren safe, but I know wrapping them in cotton wool is not the answer.
Is there risk in sending them outside to play? Yes, but there are also health consequences to keeping them tucked "safely" in their beds. They need to run and play, soak up the sun, and dig in the dirt.
Sure, there will be falls and scrapes and bumps, but what life do we give them trapped "safely" inside?
